Default Spektrum parts? Need a potentiometer.

Looking for a Spektrum stick potentiometer.

Dropped my DX6i and the elevator pot got bent.

Anyone know where I can get one?

Pic for reference..

Thanks all...

It's a little more complicated than just changing the pot. The firmware has to be updated to let the radio know it has a new pot and the center of the voltage divider has changed. If you are lucky to get the pot centered close to the old one you still may have a trim change with a change in the rates on that function unless you update the firmware.

Thanks Modeltronics.

I removed the pot (elevator) and fit an old JR pot. Working, but not getting full control throws.

This must be where the firmware update comes in.

Hmmmm. Was thinking of a new radio anyway. Looks like I have another part for my misc box.

Thanks

You can probably get a good deal on a used DX6i on Ebay. One there now sitting at $50 or so.

Thanks Jim, been watching fleabay...

New DX6i's seem to go for $90-125 w/o servos there.
