Futaba 14MZ battery
I have tried several batteries over the last few years from stock ones that cost $80.00 to replace to Sony batteries from Best Buy that cost $50.00. About 3week ago I found a battery that has 2500mah for $29.66. They have proved to be the best that I have used so I thought I would share with you. The link is. http://www.shopxtreme.com/shopping_cart.php
They last much longer than stock ones by far. I have used them for the last 2week. They do take longer to charge than stock ones. [8D]

Interesting. The stock pack is 2200 mAh. You should only be seeing about 24 minutes more run time on the 2500 versus the 2200 using the low end of power consumption of 750 mA for the 14MZ. How much longer are you seeing? Of course this assumes new full capacity 2200 packs as well.
The link you gave shows the pack as 2 Ah (2,000 mAh). The Duracell pack linked on there is listed as 2,200 mAh. Does the pack you have say 2,500 mAh on it??

I only looked at the link you provided. Still and all, that pack is 300 mAh larger, or about 14% give or take. The attached graph shows the discharge graph I did with my 14MZ for the 4 packs I have ranging in age from 5 years old to brand new. You can see that the older palcs lose their capacity compared to the new pack.
The 300 mAh larger pack on average should give you about 30 minutes more usable time compared to a 2200 pack.
Still good to have options. I have two packs that will give me about 6 to 7 hours of on time and that is more than enough for me!!

AV8R,
Thanks for posting your chart. [8D] I have my original battery from Jan 06, and I just recently purchased a new pack (Futaba 2200 mAh) to keep as a backup. I didn't realize the useful life of the pack goes down that much... Maybe next time I'll try the other vendor listed on this posting.

RE: Futaba 14MZ battery
Recently I looked at an aftermarket replacement battery for a MZ14, but had a concern. The battery in question was like these, they were replacements for multiple batteries and the battery contact terminals were only 180 degrees of contact surface vs the 360 degrees of pin contact the stock battery has. Example: view looking at the battery terminals Futaba or Sony o, aftermarket I saw ). Does the one on this link have 360 degrees of pin contact?
My concern is without 100% pin contact the battery could have a momentary loss of contact, and we know what that would lead to.
Thanks
