How to access Aux1 on DX6i?
I want to use Aux1, similar to Gear (as a discrete output) to operate an device (not a flap or aero control). It's just to operate as a switch and cause an action on my vehicle.
Ihave tried EVERY switch and stick,on the DX6i and none change the Aux1 output.
Ihave read that Aux1 is the Flap control. I have one switch marked Flap/Gyro but changing that does nothing to Aux1 output.
What am Imissing here? I suspect it might be INHibited, similar as the way Throttle Cut is. Ican turn that one on or off but can't find any way to get the output of Aux1 to change. Ihave even used the Monitor function on the DX6i to check the outputs and all change except the Aux1.
Can someone walk me through this barny style?

RE: How to access Aux1 on DX6i?
Ok, Ifigured it out. Turns out the Flap switch was working for Aux1, it was just that the output value was the same for both positions.
If Iwant to use the Flap switch as a discrete (2 position only), then Ijust set the flap positions in the Setup menu, for NORM and LAND positions and leave the wing mixing off. That way, the Aileron works as expected. Duh!
