Default Corona RS410 volts

I have a Corona RS410 rx. its rated at 4.8 to 6 volts. I realy would like to use a 1 cell 3.7 volt lipo for my aplication. Would this work or would it damage the rx?

I doubt if it will damage it, but I wouldn't bet on it working. A single cell Lipo would be down to about 3V when it's needing to be charged, that's getting pretty low
