Foil covering, reception inhibitor?

I have a friend who is contemplating covering a foam parkflyer with aluminum tape used on HVAC duct work. He is looking for a more bare metal look than he can get with paint.

Any ideas regarding how this may affect reception? He is flying with a Spektrum 5 ch TX and his plane is a Parkzone with a Spektrum receiver.

He's just need to run the antennas out of the fuselage. You have to do this on carbon fiber fuselages also. On a 2.4 system make sure one antenna is on each side of the fuselage because it will block the signal if both antenna is on the other side of the fusalage from the Tx.

Bob Violet Models (BVM Jets) has demonstrated techniques for creating various metal finishes. You may get some tips from them, as well.
