Flaps on the throttle stick

I have a Blaster 2 DLG which I am flying with a Spektrum DX7, and I want to control the flap function with the throttle stick. I have the flaps and ailerons working but with far too much movement. If I try to reduce the movement with the TRAVEL ADJUST menu I only adjust the movement of one control surface.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do what I'm trying with the DX7?
Receiver is an AR6100.

Is your radio the older DX7 or the newer DX7s (that looks like a DX8)

Let me know which channels in the RX the various Aileron and Flap servos are plugged into.. eg Left Flap ch 3 - right flap ch 6 etc..

It's the older DX7.
The right flaperon is plugged into the throttle channel. Left into the aileron channel.

Thanks for the extra info..

Unfortunately I don't have this radio but just downloaded the manual and have been trying to find an answer for you.

It appears this radio is designed to have Flaperon Servos assigned to the RX as follows.

AUX 1 servo port = Left Aileron (flaperon)
Aileron servo port = Right Aileron (flaperon)

Have you tried this configuration, then using a custom Mix to mix throttle to Flap?

This should allow you to use the Flap Travel adjustment that "should hopefully" work for both servos.

Not sure if it will work, but just brainstorming..

Anyone else have this radio that can assist?

Success! :)

The movement of the flaps was reversed, probably a consequence of mixing an already mixed channel. The simple solution for that was to switch the ports then reverse both channels.

But it works! Thanks for your help Rob!
