Converting JR transmitter to 2.4

How many channels are available when you convert JR 10 SXII/10X or XP 9303 from 72 MHz to 2.4 using a plug in 2.4 module?

The same. All you are doing is changing frequency..

Glen,

I believe it will be a max of 9 channels as a 2.4GHz module uses the ppm stream which is limited to 9 channels. With the JR 10 series Tx 10 channels were only possible by using PCM mode.

SAB is correct. I should have said ( I asssumed) it's what ever you had before in FM/PPM mode. The module broadcasts in the PPM mode of the transmitter,

I use the Spektrum DM-9 module on my JR10X & AR400 & AR600 Rx's & never have had any kind of issues. I haven't found the necessity for more than 6ch so far, although one plane does have the 7th ch(glider release servo) which I probably won't need.
