stall protection

We are using a Traxxas 3014 speed controller with an RS-550 motor for driving the wheels on a robot vehicle. We are trying to design for high reliability. How can we protect the controller and motor against stall? The 550 draws 10 amps at maximum efficiency, but will draw 85 amps at stall. Is there an off-the-shelf solution for stall detection? Thanks.

An automotive fuse?

I was hoping I could do it without disabling the robot.

I think I found a good solution: a breaker with automatic reset. http://www.snapaction.net/pdf/MX5%20Spec%20Sheet.pdf . It takes 3 - 5 seconds to reset itself after tripping. During that time, the operator should have taken corrective actions to keep the stall from happening again.
