Projeti cut my Antenna
 

Last week I launched my projeti and it dipped
to the ground and the prop cut the antenna wire in too.
good thing i brought it back around close so i could check it.
I soldered the wire back together and put that radio in my lil rascal
and put a new hitec 555 in the Projeti, today I cut the antenna again
(Not gonna run it back under the prop a third time) but the last 20 - 30 inchs
of the antenna are gone nowhere to be found, what type of wire could i use
to make a whole new antenna?? and what length? or do i need to send it back to hitec?
I'm ok at soldering so I dont mind doing it myself, thinking of trying
one of those little base loaded antenna's they use on jets and helicopters
anyone have any luck with resoldering the wires or the short antenna's??

Any type of small diameter high strand count wire.
Just make sure that the length is 39.4 inches.

Thanks, also is the 39.4 inches from the solder pad
or where it exits the case?
