JR 8103

This seems to be the most popular heli tx and Ive always used JR equipt.
Recently started flying helis on my 662 and need to upgrade soon.
My ? is, what is the exact difference between the 8103 airplane and heli version of this tx.
The only price difference comes with regard to the rx and or flight pack selected.
heli flight packs typically include an extra servo and a more powerfull battery.
There is also a signifigant cost variant with rx,s pcm ect.
An advrtiser on ebay claims little difference between the "A" and "H" versions claiming that helis can be flown on either one.
Used "A"s are more readily available and cheaper, so, if anyone really knows the difference, Id really appreciate an education.
Thanks.

RE: JR 8103

The only difference in the transmitter between the 2 versions is switch and pot locations. They both have the same programming available, and either can be used for either purpose. The main difference for flying helis is that that with the heli system the flight mode switch is a short 3 position switch on the upper left side, while with the aircraft system it is a long round 3 position switch right next to the screen on the left side. Most heli flyers are used to the flight mode switch being where it is on the heli system, so using an aircraft system requires a mental adjustment.
