Hitec Trainer cord Pin Connections?

Hi there guys....

I have recently purchased a Hitec Eclipse7 and have also a Hitec Flash6. I want to teach my fiance to fly and want to do it with a trainer cord. I have read there are problems with other trainer cords, but they are rather pricy. I want to make my own one but whould like to know what makes the cords so special?? What are the pin connections to the DIN connector??

If there's somebody out there who can help PLEASE (".)

Cheers

RE: Hitec Trainer cord Pin Connections?

Hi,

I suggest you to buy the original Hitec trainer lead (NOT the Futaba cord) : not expensive compared to Futaba. If you really want to have a home made lead, then I suggest you to check the one and only alphabetic compilation of RC and model related addresses : http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/
look for the words "trainer cords" and "buddy".
Also here if I dare : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...&threadid=5725

I also would suggest you to read specifically my website chapter 3 about Hitec and have a look at chapter 7 for a suitable trainer lead.
Hope it helps,
Olivier
