Futaba 7c vs. 9c ?
 

hello, i'm yaniv. i have flight (aircrafts) for 1-2 years.
i hope to buy an advenced radio system. (now i have simple 4 chanel).
i searching to radio that will used me in my future in this hobby.

what is the differnce in the Futaba 7c and 9c ?

pease fogive me about my "israely's english" (litle wrong).

It depends on what type of aircraft you want to go into in the future! If you want scale warbirds with retracts bomb drops ect go with the 9C! If you only want 40-120sized sport plans the 7C might be all the radio you will need. I personly have a 9C and love it! Easy to program.

Go with 9C. It is the best value for the money. 9C has a lot of options. If in the future you want to fly heli you will be able to use same radio. Iam using one and I am happy.:D

I decided on 9C because if you want to have two elevator servos with 7C with mixing on two channels you can't trim the slave servo in flight.

7C is just a "dumbed down" version on the 9C. It depends on what you want to do with it. If your aim is sport flying, the 7C is plenty. If you want to get into 3D and aerobatic stuff, I'd get the 9.

my question is: less the 2 chanels, the is more features that the 7c havn't and the 9c have ?

yes, there is a fair bit of programming that is absent in the 7c that the 9c has. (check the futaba site, they have a comparison)

2 less pmixes on the 7. Someother mixing function is lost. Less knobs and switches to assign functions to. No CAMPac module or TX module meaning your stuck with the 10 model memory it comes with and your stuck on your frequency.
