How low to you run your TX battery

Just wondering what voltage you stop flying at for a recharge.

I go rather safe with it. I stop and recharge at 9.3 but a friend of mine goes to 8.8 or when the beeper on his radio tells him it's time to recharge.

Thanks for the reply.

My Futaba does not beep until 8.5 but I haven't taken it that low before.

How about the rest of you guys...how low do you go.

I go to about 9.2 - 9.3 usually

It starts dropping off pretty quick after it gets below 9.3

recently flew my foamy and futaba 9c until it automatically throttled back at 8.3 volts. manual says after that you have 30 seconds and the radio shuts down. (it was beeping for about 10 minutes prior)

I normally go until the beeper sounds. There's plenty of time to land after the beeper starts. This is with a Futaba 9Z and 8U. When the 9Z had the original 800 mAh pack it was easy to run it down with a good day's flying.

Ive got plenty of landing time when my futuba starts beeping I guess. Sofar ive only used it on land vehicles, and Ive tried it till it went dead once, but theres atleast 3 more minutes left. The range will probably drop considderably. When I start flying, I wont be letting it hit below 9v.
