RX crystals.
Can I change a higher channel crystal into a lower channel receiver without causing any frequency problems? Futaba says not to do this. But if I buy a new receiver it is not marked for high or low. Any help?

RE: RX crystals.
Futaba is the only manufacturer still splitting their product line into High and Low bands.
If your receiver is anything other than Futaba, go ahead and switch to any of the channels. If it is a Futaba Rx, stick to the low channels. |

RE: RX crystals.
According to Futaba, if you have one of their receivers and you don't know if it's high or low, look inside the slot where the crystal plugs into and see if there is a red dot in there. If there is, then it is a high band.
