Training Mode on Futaba 8U Super
 

I have a Futaba 8UHP Super that I use for both heli's and plane. I am having a problem with the training mode for planes. My heli is on PCM and when I switch from that to the plane that is on FM, both are on the same channel also, the training mode goes to inh every time. This is after I turn the transmitter off and back on to change modulation modes. The trims stay the same and the control surfaces are also staying correct. The only thing that seems to change is the trainer function is inhibited. Switching back to the heli or any other plane seems to work fine. I only use the trainer function on the one plane and I haven't tried it on another. Anybody know if this is a normal thing or should I have the radio checked out. Thanks in advance for the help. Don't ask me why but that is normal.
