Question on Hitec electron 6 receiver
 

Hi I have a Futaba 9CP transmitter and have just bought a Hitec electron 6 receiver. I have a matched pair of futaba crystals tx and dual conversion rx. Will the futaba crystal work with the receiver or can I only use hitec crystals as it states on the box?

From what I understand you need to use a Hitec crystal with a Hitec receiver. Personally, I wouldn't take a chance for a $10 crystal. I am sure someone else will give a more positive answer.

Only use Hitec crystals in Hitec receivers. no exceptions
