Gp 2500 battery ff9?

hello ...

I would like to know how much element I must put to make a battery of 2500mah for my radio FF9?

Thank you

It should work. I built a 1800mAh battery for mine using NiMh cells and it works great. I simply ensure I charge it with a suitable NiMh capable charger and not the Futaba-supplied slow charger.

If I use 8 element with a load slow of 12 hour for 8element it is correct or not?

You need 8 cells (9.6Volts) but you should use a peak detect charger that detects when the battery is fully charged.

I would not use a time-based charge method as NiMh cells are less tolerant of overcharging than NiCd cells are.

Will a peak detect charger work through the normal charge socket, and what is the maximum charge rate, as I would to do the conversion too, but don't wish to have to keep unplugging the battery.

I think of putting 12 hour charges max of them 15 hour for the pack 8 elements! it is already rather well after it are Finish !

Yes, it should, but I guess it depends on the charger. I use a Great Planes Triton and it works just fine. It has an auto setting for current so charging could not be simpler.

It is probably worth checking with the cell manufacturer what the recommended maximum charge rate (current) is - many consumer cells print a number of options on the cell.
