Radio with Flight Sim
 

Hi all,
I was wondering if there are any radios that can be used with PC flight simulators, or do can you only use the controller that is provided with the sim?

almost any radio with a boddy box port can be used with a SIM provided you have the correct adapter.

Is there a way to use Real Flight G3 with my radio and not have to hook it up through the interlink radio controller?

aeajr I don't believe that G3 will leave you start the program unles you have a interlink plus controller hooked up to your computer.

Thanks! I did not know it was locked in to its own controller. Sounds like a good reason to buy something else.

I just tought my Father, Sister, Brother-in-law, and 13 year old neice how to fly an GWS pico Tigermoth with FMS and a cable to the actual radio.

Very successful. My Niece was landing the plane the first day out.

What is a good flight sim alternative to Real Flight G3? Anyone hear if they are any closer to releasing a flight sim on mac? Until then, I have to use my wife's sssssssslooooowwww PC.
