Question for 9Z wizards

Hi guys,
I can't wait for my 9z to arrive... they told me this monday...
[:@]

Meanwhile, I'm going to imagine what can I do with this marvellous thing...

Question: can a slider act as a switch between conditions? Let me explain: it would be good if conditions, during flight, could be changed using sliders, since with the finger you can easily rotate them, while reaching the switches could be more difficult, since they are more far than the slider.

Tell me that this is possible ;)

RE: Question for 9Z wizards

It doesn't appear to be doable. I just tried adding a condition to one of my model memories; you can activate with one of the eight toggle switches, or one of the sticks. The two knobs and two sliders were not available choices. Which makes sense, since they are proportional controls, as opposed to "on/off". Of course, so are the sticks...

Still, this is the 9Z. There is almost always more than one way to do something. But unless you hold the box really strange, ONE of those eight switches is going to be within easy reach of your fingers.

RE: Question for 9Z wizards

Steve,
really thank you very much for your efforts!

Actually I was asking too much... even for the 9Z! I will go with one of the switches.

Again many thanks Steve!

RE: Question for 9Z wizards

Hey Steve,
take a look at what I found on 9Z manual, the one present on futaba site:

"You may have differing
flight conditions automatically called up by a predefined
position of a stick, knob, lever, or switch.
This command may also be used to define what
switches and/or controls are used to
flight condition."

It is an explaination of the CSL command.

But how can this be done if only the switches can be selected? The SWT menu could be the right place?
