Transmitter failure with new battery
 

I just upgraded my Eclips with a 1650ma nimh battery. Once it was formed and installed in the transmitter I had problems. Dialed in various different freq. on the rf module and got the same results. Tested two of the three receivers on a different transmitters and they worked. Anybody ever have a failure like this after a new battery was installed. The strange thing is that a different freq on my spit works. Three other freq dont work. Its going to Dumonds for a checkout along with a couple of other receivers that have been broken for awhile. Looks like I'll be sending the rest in for a checkup since its been a long while since I had it done.

Are you sure you did not accidently plug the battery in backwards, that will almost certainly smoke the transmitter.

The transmitter powers up and runs. I can go thru the menus and select different planes and such. It works on channel 34. Just not on 30, 36, and 24. Dont think there is different color smoke for different functions.<g>
