JR 10x module?

When you order the option for the tranmitter and case only, do you have to buy the module? Chief Aircraft makes it seem like you do. What does the module do? -Steve

JR 10x module?

I had to buy the module seperately when I got my 9Z.

The module is "big black box" that acts as the crystal.
