Need help finding this Receiver, PLEASE HELP?

Hello all,

I have an old JR PROPO 2-channel Alpina PCM witch came with an Inverter FET NEA-850B speed controler and a JR 27MHz NER-832x ABC & W system PCM receiver(thats what it says)...

Anyways I bought this radio combo at a lhs about 9 years ago..
I just cleaned out my basement and found my old RC stuff (including my old Stadium Blitzer)...

Then I remembered why I put it down there in the first place.. The speed control and the receiver blow(made the mustake and ran a Y-adabter to two batterys then to my speed controler)((I was young and stupped))...

To make this short do any of you know where I can find this receiver... Or will any 27MHz PCM Receiver work with my old radio..

If it makes a differents my radio runs on TX5 crystal while the receiver ran on RX5 crystal....

Any help is better then none...
Thanx every one!
later

P.S.
Sorry for double posting

Are you sure this was a PCM (pulse code modulation) receiver. I rather suspect that it was PWM (pulse width modulation). If so, any current 27MHZ receiver should work.

Yes there are PCM pistol surface radios on the shared 27MHz surface/air band as well as the 75MHz. surface band and a version of the Alpina is one of them. If your rx is defunct because of and overvoltage (hard to tell exactly what you did from your description) then it needs to be replaced with a matching JR PCM Rx. You cannot use just any Surface Rx.

The Speed control may have been damaged also but you may get lucky.

You could try sending the RX to Kraft Midwest . Often the overvoltage takes out a cap or two ,sometimes an IC regulator .
It may be worth fixing.

All right Ill try to sum things up

SYSTEM COMPONETS:

Model: System V2C-2SH PCM
Transmitter: Net-V122 PCM
Receiver: NER-832X
Servo: NES-507 x 2
Accessories: BEC Switch harness, Battery case, Servo rubber, Band Flag

The speed controller is fryed(didnt care for it much anyways if I can recall)

And yes, The Receiver is AM PCM 27MHz

Heres what the manual said about the receiver;

BEC (BATTERY ELIMINATOR CIRUITRY) RECEIVER
*Receiving Range: 200M Ground, 400M Air.
*Power source of Receiver and Servo obatained from the running battery porvides stable current flow. It does not require to install receiver battery separately.
*Easy to install and prevent the trouble caused by mis-wiring.
*Nely developped JR Regulater does not allow self-running.
*Size: H21 x W33 x D51 (m/m)
*Weight: 36g
*AM PCM ABC & W System

Rodney: to anwear your quistion.. It says PCM so Im guessing its PCM...

Ill try to scan a photo of the receiver tonight.. So you all can check it out...

Ladyflyer: Thanx for telling me about that.. But Im sure sendin it in wont do any good... (I was stupped) and ran my Stadium Blitzer on the pond (over ice in the winter) and found a slushy spot and thats when it screwed up... But I was also running 2 7.2V batterys at the same time on the reciever (big no no, I know)((But I learned the hard way, besides I was young and stupped))

JohnBuckner: Thanx for your post too...

Hopefully I cleared up some things here...
Time to dig out my scanner...
