Take a look at the New Jr servo. It's nearly 400inoz of torque. Horizon hobby sells them

Are you talking about one of the "Flying Lawmower" novelty planes, or are you converting a full size lawnmower to radio control?

yeah, what exactly do you mean lawnmower? are you:

a) flying something that is nicknamed a lawnmower
b) using a lawnmover engine for power (or more likely a weed-whacker if this is the case)
c) posting in the wrong forum-section and talking about a surface-rc lawnmower

?

Subject discussed previously at
RC Lawnmower
See also sub section "Servo & TX alterations, calculators, clonepacs, make an ESC or winch, FAQ." and "RC System Manufacturers (for servos ex Hitec & Tonegawa Seiko as best, IMO, available selection for your purpose)" under Radio Systems, Accessories, Alterations and FAQ on my web page.

Big strong servo? I know of no stronger servo used in the RC world than the Tonegawa Seiko PS050, with 1800 ozin @12V. I get mine from Gene at Troybuiltmodels.

Tonegawa Specs:
PS050: 690 oz in stall torque @ 8.4 VDC (Operating Voltage from 4.4V to 8.4V)

SSPS105: High-torque model: 380kg/cm (5277 oz-in)

Many of us run the PS050 on 12V with great results. You do have to make cooling holes or slots in the lower case, or the servo will not center very well, but that's a half hour job. Once you've gotten used to this servo on 12V on the rudder of your 37.5% or larger airplane, it's hard to go back to ganged up coreless digitals. The PS050 is extremely strong on 12V. Many people also run it successfully on 2-cell Li-Ion or Lipo batteries.

thanks for the info the Tonegawa servo is exactly what I need,
yes I'm trying to convert a pushing lawn mower to RC , I work with CNC machines and I have a welder, it should'nt be that hard the machine it's a self propelled so all I have to do is make it steer, I'll worry about the breaking part later.:D

Let us know how it works, I might consider converting my tractor to R/C. Then I could just sit on the deck/porch drinking beer while mowing the lawn! :D:D:D
