Yes, it will work, but...

It's a wide band receiver ([link=http://www.futaba-rc.com/radioaccys/old-receivers.html]see here[/link]). What this means is it's highly likely that it could be interfered with by the immediately adjacent channels. I certainly wouldn't use this at a busy field, or on a plane that's valuable. In fact, given the low cost of modern receivers, and their vastly improved performance, I'd be inclined to not use it at all.

I wouldn't want to use it either.
If you want to use a Futaba RX try the new R168DF
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLSX4&P=ML only $60 plus crystal. You may be able to use your existing crystal though. The R168DF is NOT HI/LO split like previous Futaba units.
