Hitec servo, Futaba plug, JR receiver?
 
I have some Hitec digital servos with Futaba plugs I'd like to use with a JR receiver. Alone removing the side tab on the plug will this set-up work or be safe?

In other words, now that you have removed the tab which prevents reversed connection, make sure you don't hook the servo up backwards. It might not kill anything, but it certainly won't work if hooked up backwards.
