JR R921-ANY REASON THIS WOULDN'T WORK????

This question is for the JR R921 receiver.

I realized I would like to put an amp meter in line between my battery and receiver to see what type current load is being used when all the servos are moving. However, the battery to receiver lead is now not accessible without some aircraft disassembly. I have a servo extension plugged in the the bind/batt and the data/batt slots that are accessible. Is there any reason, with the power switch in the off position, that I could not plug my amp meter with spare battery into one of these available servo extensions and power the receiver and servos for the test?

G'day Mate,
No reason at all, as long as the amp meter is in SERIES, with the load, in this case the RX & servos, it will work.
Remember AMPS in series, VOLTS in parallel.
