crystal question

Just bought a bind and fly quark srb. I need a rx crystal that I can put in it to match my original radio. I cant seem to find one on the net that is exactly the same frequency. Does that mean I have to by a new set of crystals (rx, tx). Do I have to buy them from Futaba or are they generic? Who sells them?

Note that in the USA it is not legal to replace a transmitter crystal without having the proper test/alignment procedure done by a capable shop.

What channel is your transmitter on?
What receiver is in the heli? If the receiver uses Futaba crystals you can get them at www.towerhobbies.com
There are several types of Futaba receiver crystals so it is important to know exacltly what the receiver is.

I thought the term Bind and Fly only referred to 2.4Ghz systems. You do not put Crystals in these radios.

As stated above, bind-and-fly refers to 2.4 equipment. You can't buy crystals for those. You either have the equipment or you don't.
