Eclipse PMix - Always on?

I'm trying to set up an Ultrastick on an Eclipse. I am aware of some of the shortcomings (crow, for example) and some of the workarounds.

As for the PMixes, is there a way to enable them full time? I gather from all that I've been able to find, you can't, but it never hurts to ask.
