Afternoon Guys,
I am looking into building a track for off road use in the Western 'Burbs of Chicago. I'm also looking to find others who race (on and off track) to set up some type of club or on forum to exchange ideas and thoughts on the sport. Anyone interested? Let me know. E-mail me at [email protected] .

Great track in Libertyville (5 min. from my house )!!! Indoor carpet, BRAND NEW outdoor off-road, and a full shop/pit area:

www.rsjraceways.com

I also know of (but haven't visited) this track/shop in Bristol WI (just over the border from Antioch on Rte. 45). But it's really weird, the track is ONLY open on MonDAYS. Not weekends. Not any nights...just Mondays!!! But the STORE is open all week, and I will be heading there soon, as they carry Trinity Monster Brew fuel, which I like but can't find anywhere else (got 3 qts. thru mail-order)

http://www.bristolrc.com/index.htm

ALSO....RCCA magazine has fairly comprehensive track location info for all of the USA (and the rest of the world, too!!). They're in the back of almost every issue.

Hello Chicago Rc'ers

Just to drop you all a little note. That our club Dirt Dawg's and the local Hobby Town in St Charles will be sponsoring a Off Road RC Race Sunday, August 22nd in Elburn Illinois.

Elburn is about 45 miles straight west of Chicago on Rte 38 Roosevelt Rd. Easily accessible from I 88 or I90. This race will benefit the Elburn Lions club. There will be a bunch of raffles and stuff. Our club is raffling a GS Storm 1/8th scale Buggy with the JR radio, tickets are $10. You can pm me or call the hobby town for more info 630-587-1246
