Hi there, I live in Sparks nevada and I am planning on getting a MT soon, so maybe i'll be able to come out in mid, late spring or early summer. I know this is a old thread but if you ever see this you will know you have one more person to come to your race track lol.

Ah I can't, I dont even have a off road rc vehicle yet, plus I work then. I only have a nitro on road car right now but when I do get a MT I will definately check your track out. Do you still have your track or are you in gardnervil?

We still have our track but we are supporting the new track in Gardnerville to get a solid racing scene established.

Yeah I'm like right in between fallon and gardnerville, long drive for me in either direction even longer for you lol. I heard a rumor of one or more tracks being built in reno have you heard of any thing like this?
Also where do you go for you replacement parts? AMS in reno doesn't seem very helpful and they said they only carry savage parts. Hobbies of reno is mainly aircraft so I was just wondering if there are any other hobby shops nearby that you get parts from. I am thinking of getting a LST so I would want parts easily available.

Hey guys,
A couple friends and I here in Reno/Sparks are having the same problem... no one to race against. We do some highly unorganized parking lot racing (1/10th on-road) and do some hill/rock climbing with our off-road gear when we get bored with the sedans.
As for on-road, we have a bunch of race course dots that we make our tracks out of and just race against each other. We plan on attending the Carson City races in May. But since Reno lacks any R/C racing... we are stuck to fending for ourselves and trying to make the best of it.
Getting together with fellow R/C people has been so brutal that (a couple of days ago) we started a forum for Reno/Sparks and Northern Nevada R/C racers. It's half done and we are still looking for administrators, members, moderators, and participants. Give it a look at [Forum Link Removed]
It's nothing fancy, just a place where we can all hookup and find a place to race.
