Hi All
Just moved to New York and I need to find a new RC club. I am looking to race 1/10 Nitro, 1/10 Electric and Mini-Z. Does anybody know of a club/track in or around New York city.

Where in NYC are you? There is no Nitro racing in the area.... There's indoor Carpet in Mineola and Coram... Some outdoors stuff at Floyd Bennet field.... I think there's a place in Chinatown that races mini-z's, not sure.....

Hi. There's very active mini-z racing club in Chinatown NYC (email me [email protected] if you need more info) with lap counter, shop and more. Unfortunately, it's closing in about a month and we'll be kinda homeless...

I race at Bridgeport and Floyd Bennett Field. I'm going to Bridgeport as of today and probably Floyd in brooklyn,NY on Sunday. Prospeed is good, but they ONLY let u do practice on the day of the race. Bridgeport and Floyd are open 24/7 (Weather permitting) so you can be able to run and get ton of practice time. Even if you are the only one there it would be great. However bring a friend to help marshall and treat him to lunch LOL.

I'm running an HPI R40 also with RB V12 Rody 3 port std. It's not really a big track as Floyd is a little larger. I went today for a little run usin the sedan. It's pretty good, but wish I had someone to run with. Also near the last turn there was a big puddle.

My car hooked up really well though I may need to adjust the gear ratio a little bit.

My r40 handled well out there. I dont remember the gearing that I used. It will be missed. You think FBF is bigger than bridgeport ? I think the straight is a bit longer but i would prefer bridgeport over fbf anyday. My home track will be prospeed everyweek. I will make all of Barcars events at CT and I will try to make the trophy races at FBF.

www.frracers.com This track has been around for more than 6 years at floyd bennett field. When you enter the area that says floyd bennett field, make a left after the security guard both and go all the way past the garden down towards the school like building and the abandoned one. That's where it is.

It's going to be around 38-40 or so. I may go to floyd, but the toll both's are killer. It's $4+ to get into the city.
For sure no one will go to bridge though...and I'll be all alone.
Damn. Welp atleast I'd get to test out the gears that hopefully will be in this Wednesday.
