OK Super Dave it is!
The 10000 in the center should make it pretty much 4wd all the time but the lighter oil in the rear should help with your steering.

HHHMMM - Super Dave ---- well I can see it if he gets rid of the all black - goth type look

No banjo play'in in your near future huh Kevin? Hey - you never said what kind of "back-up" buggy you got.

Matt - what weekend are you talking about - Sunday July 3rd? or Sunday June 26th? The plan is to run at Scott's on June 26th. As for July 3rd - I don't know where we will be running yet. I know that Wayne wants to get his track up and running - but has some big contracts/jobs going on that have kept him very busy lately.

I ran 10,000 in my center diff last year and am now running 7,000 this year. The biggest change that I have seen is that the end caps on the center diff and front and rear diffs - for the center bog bones or universals - wore out and got a notch in them much faster using the 10,000 weight oil.

Super Dave? I seem to remember the Super Dave character getting pulverized a lot. Maybe that IS a good name. [sm=punching.gif]

Sounds good Scott! Not sure if I can get out there on Saturday because I have to take my car in to the shop - it is leaking coolant - and that only leaves us with one car to do everything on Saturday. Glad I got out there to help move some dirt last night.

I know that last time Pedro came out there he made very short work of the changes you needed. This is going to be good!

YEAH -- I have been rolling this "Super Dave" thing around a bit and I just don't know..... even if he did wear bright colors and a cape -- just doesn't fit. HEY how about STINKY.... or ... ROSCO.... you know something short and snappy

I vote for MiB instead of Super-Dave.

Looking forward to your new track layout Scott. [sm=thumbup.gif]

MiB is that for Man in Black? Well - maybe if he could sing like Johnny Cash --- hey Dave do you want to buy a banjo - could start you out on an all new musical career.... and to think it all started with a nick name!!!

Beer is cheap --- but let me know if you pay him any $$ so I can tell everyone on Sunday they need to help with that expense --- that would only be fair.

I gues Stampy and I are the only ones who remember who Super Dave was. No matter how confident he talked before the stunt he never pulled it off. He usually got messed up bad.
Now MIB is just to cool for Dave. That would just swell his head and we dont want that. A little more and that thing could pop![X(]

Scott Ive got a lot to do here so I dont know when I will be done but I am planning on coming over later to help.

Lest anyone think I am REALLY letting Dave go or am into Dave bashing....Dave's not going anywhere. What this is REALLY about is that I have made a substantial and welcome addition to my staff. Any good business wants to get better and that only happens when you get the best available peeps.

Mr. Excitement would be a good name tho........[sm=tongue.gif]

Super Dave .... so there really was a guy named that? Must have been in the 70's which would be why I don't remember him.

Super Dave Osborn was on a comedy show back on Showtime or HBO back in the late 70s early 80s. He wore a suit like Evil Kneivel sp? and did some whacked out stunts that always failed. I just remember because I was still in school and Did Not do those things that killed brain cells. Damn things have changed!

So any guesses on the New Guy? Rumor has it that someone decided to trade in fish for RC. Another is that someone from Hogwhalo(sp?) might be in the running, that would be a first.
Wait those 2 are the same person arent they. Kind of like Michael and Latoya Jackson!

All I can divulge is the New Guy starts Tuesday evening. Maybe there should be a large welcoming party (or lynch mob depending on your mood).

Bill tell the truth Momma wouldnt let you! Besides what do you really know about RC, except what Rodney taught you![sm=lol.gif]

Joel-early 80's... hell I was still in high school. It wasnt until 84' that I went into the ARMY and picked up my bad habits.

I heard another rumor that the new guy is actually a "New Guy". I heard he(?) is pretty good at working on them but not real sure about his driving. I think Scott and I might still have something for him. Maybe he will be at Scotts this weekend so we can find out.

Racing is my life and now that I have a COMPLETE understanding of suspension geometry and weight placement nothing can stop me!
