Darn sounds like too much work and no play.

You still have all your stuff? You keep the buggies and truggy? I remember you had a ton of stuff.

I got a bunch more running in this week. Probably went through a gallon or so of fuel in buggy and truggy on my track. It's so nice to finally have a driver's stand here lol.

Here's some pics from today:

Ran for a few hours today. Track has a tiny bit of grass on it and that's it. If ANY of you wanna come down and play before winter hits let me know.

Had another great day on my track. Me, Paul and Randy all ran on it. The new layout along with the damp clay made for some good traction.

Any of you see the local news tonight? Gentry was busted for $50K worth of pot and over $40k worth of equipment.

man thats some bad news there. i never would have thought that. i havent been on here for a couple of weeks. all of my nitro stuff is gone, dont have the desire to fool with anything right now. even the 1/5 scale has sat for several months now. maybe i just need a break from it again. work pretty much consumes any free time that i used to have.......

Yeah it's crazy. He had opened up 4 tattoo parlors in the last couple years. He was telling everyone that he was doing good. I guess now we know how he was paying for it all.

On another note Randy and a guy named Larry from Roanoke came down and ran on my track today. Track was perfect with slightly damp clay. I guess I can't blame you for getting rid of stuff since your track is gone now. You had a good run with it though. I always liked running on it.

If you ever decide to ride down here your more than welcome to. I have a VE8 I can mess with your D8E with.

All you electric guys need to hit up Homer's Tekin world championship electric race in september...

So far he's already gotten Tekin to be the title sponsor. Gonna be a big race with all the pros there.

Yeah I had a good Christmas and I hope you did too.

I'm switching over all my vehicles to brushless now. After I drove this VE8 I bought I'm hooked on the brushless setups. I'm converting over my 2.0 buggy and truggy this week. So your track is gone right? Last I heard your track was gone and ya'll were running in a field somewhere with the 1/5 scales?

the track is not gone, just more grass than dirt from lack of driving on it. the 1/5 scales we were running in greene co on a track we made. a boatload of black pipe, the drivers stand is about 10 feet in the air. that track is 3 times the size of mine here so we needed to be high to see it.so to speak...... yeah after converting my d8 to electric i was bit! i cant see me ever getting rid of that now. hopefully this spring i can get ernie and mike back out for some fun running. the electric 1/8 scale is just bad ass!!!

Damn I heard your track was gone. I didn't know it was still there. I will make a trip up there in spring to run some with you. I've already ordered the conversion for both my losi buggy and truggy. And I'm going to keep this ve8. The thing handles really good.

Paul is converting a brand new JQ buggy now to electric using the Tekno V4 conversion. We are both gonna hit up the big ass race Homer is hosting this year. He's gonna have people from all over the US there. Lots of sponsored drivers have already agreed to come to it. It's sponsored by Tekin. You should ride up with us. It's 3 days long. Friday qualifying, Saturday qualifying and Sunday the mains.

So who all up ya'lls way still has some rc's? Anyone wanna hit up Homer's big electric 1/8 race in September with me and Paul?

Scott me and Paul wanna come play on your track once we get some warm weather again if that's cool with you. We only own electric stuff now so no worries about nitro sound.
