There is a group of us that have been racing @ South Shore hobbies in Coram on the weekends. We are looking for more people to come and join us there so that we may enjoy the outdoor off road track while it is there. (Rumor is that it is the last year)There is a full service hobby shop on premises. We have been running our LST's, TNX's, Savages and others. No Buggies (dont know why). The track is tight but we have been having fun. If there are enough people there we will have access to the scoring system there etc.

I have been going ot floyd bennet field on weekday mornings for on road racing. SSH is for off road outdoor only. They have indoor electric there as well in the winter and summer. If you are interested in meeting out at Floyd, let me know.
As of 10pm there is a nice confirmed group.

You're not very far from Floyd Bennett if you live in Long Island. Should take you about 20-25mins depending on traffic to get there and what part of LI you long in. Do a search on Mapquest and just type on Floyd Bennet Field for name and Brooklyn, NY for state and address. Leave zipcode blank. They are open 24/7, but it's an onroad track. They may be making an offroad outdoor track next year if they get enough people, however for now, LI raceway is a great indoor track that's bringing back nitro indoor truck racing.
