Its disappointing how few tracks there are in San Diego for off road fun. Ive looked for them and the closest I have come across is in Santee and I am not sure if they allow electric off road. Does anyone know of any tracks in San Diego for off road fun?

You have to drive, like I do from the Palm Springs area. I have to drive an hour every week, as that is the closest track.

Have you been to the track near Barona Casino (if it even exists)? So your saying the only place near San Diego to race is in Palm Springs?! [:@] I respect the dedication...Can you give me some info for these tracks? And what about the tracks in like Orange County?

No, I havent. Most of the San Diego guys run at ARC in Temecula. I live in La Quinta, but I say Palm Springs area because more people know where that is. So I drive from La Quinta to places like Beaumont Temecula Montclair, etc. There isnt any tracks in my area. What tracks do you want information on? There are some good tracks in the OC area. The BEST track, is OCRC Raceway in Hunington Beach. It is an indoor electric only clay track that has great pit tables, a hobby shop, and an overall great facility. There is also Pegasus and Revelation in Montclair. Ask Access about the Barona track, I PMed him and that is where he goes sometimes.

I would have to say Chris you are prety dedicated to drive that far to race... Since I am not driving my self yet, it makes going racing alot more difficult since I have obligations when racing is normally held []. I do hope to try my hand at it again, last time I went racing was a disaster. My engine was a pain (tuned it to early), got kicked out of the parking lot tuning by some grumpy fart driving a city works car (ha, the track was closed for watering dork....), then I got all nervous and forgot to tune right, my radio + failsafe was killing the engine (besides my bad tune)... you get the idea, bad experence. I quit before running the main i was so depressed. Well now that I have a better engine and know how things work
