RE: kentucky dudes
I might make the trip up there in the future. It would help to post the dates and start times that you are racing.
I saw the pics on RCRCR looks very nice, you guys worked your butts off getting all that in there.

OK I signed up to your forum yesterday. I will be coming there eventually. It's closer for me to drive to
Madisonville than it is to go to Albion IL. I'm thinking it's out past calhoun somewhere. I get on the pennyrile parkway and
go from there.

RE: kentucky dudes
hello all, i am apparently getting back into the hobby. my son found my car while i was in afghanistan and wants to race with me so i guess i'm back, only because of my son or at least that is what i am telling my wife!!!!!! I have been racing off and on for over 10 years, i started in Wisconsin when i was 15. I raced alot of 1/8 scale nitro and 1/10 scale nitro in the summer and 1/10 scale electric in the winter. I use to be good, but not sure anymore!!!!!!! Last big race i went to i placed 3rd in the A-main in the wisconsin off-road championship in 1/8th scale. That was in oshkosh at the old hobbytown usa track. I also raced at s&s trackside where there was one team losi guy that i beat, only because his truck broke in the main!!!!!!!!!! But anyways i want to do 1/10th scale electric with my 5 year old son. Asylum is the closest track so that is where i will start, and if anyone could tell me any info about their classes it would be appreciated. also are there any indoor off-road tracks near ft knox?

RE: kentucky dudes
We are planning a 2 day Winter Points Series race in Early February (5th and 6th). This race will be on Friday night the 5th * 7pm - 11pm (slash, 2wd corr and 4x4 mod classes) and again the following day Saturday Feb 6th at 11 am - 4 pm (slash, 2wd corr, 4x4 mod and KIDS classes) This will be a money $$ race with over $750 in cash payouts... Each class entered will cost $15 ($15 Fri $15 Sat) Payback will awarded each day with points money being paid on Saturday (if you can only race 1 day you can still win cash) Payback will be as follows:
Slash Stock: $40 $25 $15 each night, with an additonal $40 $25 $15 to the points winners. Win each night and you could take home $120
2WD Corr: $75 $40 $15 each night, win an additional $75 $40 $15 to the points winners. Win each night and you could take home $225
4x4 Modified $30 $15 each night, and additional $30 $15 to points winner. This could be much higher based on field size. This class is growing each week so purse size could be closer to the Slash Stock.
Prize money can be higher or lower based on field size. Mains: 1 truck bumps up from each main, 2 trucks bump up too A main. A Mains will be 10 minutes in length all other mains will be 6 minutes. Stock slash A main will be 8 minutes. Kids classes will be Saturday Only. Kids can race adult classes if they like either night. Food will be available Fri and Sat . Points structure will be something easy to keep up with and described in another post. Check out madisonvillehobbies.com for our forum and more info. Also youtube for madisonville hobbies for videos of our races. We run Short Course Trucks on an off road carpet track. Tons of fun. Come see us

RE: kentucky dudes
I went to this track this past saturday. B-mag was in da house!
I put a brushless system in my 2wd slash. 9.5 LRP AI Pro.
This system is not that fast. 8.5 I know is way too much in a slash.
Would I have to run this with the 4wd slashes? Or can I change gearing to get my speed to a 17.5 motor?

Ok Racers it’s time to race at the Boneyard in Mayfield, KY Looks like a good turn out starting to form for Saturday June 19th Post up and I will put your name on the list.
We have plenty of room for trailers and there is power at the drivers stand. We have an on site hobby shop and concessions. The track is fun and flowing and the drivers stand is big and covered. This is going to be a good race don’t miss out.

RE: kentucky dudes
No posts here in a while...
I'm mostly an electric person myself. But I'm doing a trade on RCtech, the B44 is GONE.....getting a used SC10.
I plan on putting alot of miles on this truck when I get it. Mainly at Golfland when they open and Madisonville.
I went to Nortonville's track before you get to Elizabeth town, it's a pretty good track too.
Raced there 2 times last year.
But they are more focused on 8th scale latemodels not really much of anything else. The High $$$ rides...
