RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

ORIGINAL: slicks

Just checked the weather -- looks like it may be nice on Saturday! Are we going to race or just do an open day? If so where?

Sounds like Wayne's track may have been torn up by ATV / 4 wheelers this past week.
I feel more like an open day for testing. The rain kind of killed it. I still got a few things I like to try out, including get a good tune on the MAC. It was a bit rich.

From what Wayne told Scott -- Eddie and Tiny used the track for their personal ATV track. Not sure how much damage was done - but it sounded like Wayne was not happy about it.

Joe - good to see that you are back from your holiday trip to NC. So how was it - did you get a chance to race?

Hey Christian -- I'll trade you one of my 777's for one of your rc boats! Man it really rained in our area.

As for Saturday I am sure it will take a couple of days before Scott can even walk on his track to see what shape it is in.

I am afraid you need some money + buggy. Hmmm... maybe I can bring it to the track and run in the mud.

Scotts track dries pretty quick. The next few days are supposed to be nice so it will dry out. Hell he will probably have to wet it on Saturday to keep the dust down.

Didn't get to run much, rained some on Saturday and poured all day Sunday. I really like the track, they made some changes since last time I was there. Forgot to get pictures though....[&o]

Scott -- let me know about paying for the shirts.

Not sure how I can get up to your place now that there is a new addition to the road infront of the UGLY new shopping center. I heard that the sink hole is some 20 feet deep!!! If I were king I would haul the construction company, the VDOT inspector and the county inspector in to my office and then throw them in jail!!! It just blows my mind that that kind of crappy work is allowed.

Christian -- with all the hard rain we got yesterday and then last night --- it caused a huge sink hole in the road in front of the new shopping center.
