I just bought a nitro stampede having problems with it starting. I cajt tighten the glow plug down or the engine wont turn over and when I do loosen it up it acts like it doesnt have enough compression

Sounds like the glow plug is too long (or, less likely, it's missing the head gasket). Try a short plug.
