if i remeber right the NTC3 uses a SG crank or a Short threaded, which in that case yes. you may want to wait for the .12 RE engine which comes out in Jan

I'm checking now, but I'm pretty sure it's a sg crank. If you get it, let me know how it is. I looks like a pretty good pullstart engine. They have one on e--y for cheap.

If your going to put it in a NTC3 RTR then you will need the SG shaft version. If you want a slide carb and you have the RTR then you can go on AE's website and it tells you how to convert the stock linkage to use a slide carb. The RTR manual doesn't tell you how to set up a slide linkage[&:]. Other then that the engine should drop right in.

The best kind of engine is a SG crankshaft with a slide carb. They're VERY easy to install and setup. The only thing you'll need at most is a new clutch nut. The stock throttle/brake linkages will work fine for either carb, you will just need to modify it a bit.
