To be honest i wouldnt say its the air filter. because the engines only suck small amounts in anyway. but i wud just lean the engine abit more.

Yah, unless the air filter tube is getting pinched, the carshoudl run fine. You do realize that engines dont hold there tune forever right? Intermediate engines usualy need to be re-tuned every once in a while, high end .12 race engines are usually re tuned every single day they are ran.

what could also be the problem(i ahd this on my car) is that the face of the air filter (where the sponge is) should face forward. i had mine with the cap peice facing forward and it wouldnt hit top end it would bog from richness because not enough air was getting it

well i came back to a strange surprise, i took the car out to my backyard cause it was raining a little, it started on the first pull with the filter on, it stoped raining so i took it to the street when i get there it didnt work anymore and now its spraying fuel out the air filter[:'(] now my hand is full of fuel and my car doesnt want to start. Im thinking its the glow plug cause when i took it out to check if it was working it started smoking and didnt turn bright oreange until a few secs, do any of u gods of rc have an idea of whats going on i really wanted to run my car today
