Carb problem on HPI
I recently noticed that my Nitro HPI RS4 3 Evo + has a messed up carb. I noticed it when i pulled the brake on the control and the carb internal piece that the throttle linkage is hooked to was sliding out of the carb body. For some reason now the internal piece of the carb slides back and forth in its outer shell. Its like something came loose that was keeping the internal piece inside there. Do i need to buy a new carb, or what?

that nut is tight to the throttle arm, but im saying the whole internal piece inside the carb slides out, it doesnt stay in the body, it just slides out of the silicone sleeve

When u open the throttle arm on the carb.. its supposed to slide/stick out a little bit.. maybe about 1-2mm fron the carb body and it slides back in when u close the carb

RE: Carb problem on HPI
This is a rotary cab right? If it is then there might be problem with the idle screw. The end sits in a silghtly angled slot in the carb barrel, which makes the barrel move out slighly when the throttle is put on more (this is so the lsn only works at low throttle openings). If the Idle screw is very loose then the barrel will slide around wherever it wants to.
