Default advantages of 2speed in rs4 racer2??

i just got a rs4 racer 2 and it has a os .12cvr and futaba radio set up, and was wanting to get a 2speed for it, what is the pros/cons of a 2speed? i know it will give me faster top speed and faster acceleration right? btw it will never see a track

There are simply no cons...the car accelerates faster, it has more top speed and the engine is pushed less in order to achieve the same speed as the previous top speed was (without the 2 speed).

I would upgrade other stuff first if there is anything, but I love hearing my evo shift, its awesome. It really starts to fly when 2nd kicks in, and it doesn't see track, just the big church parking lot.

Well 2 speed, foam or slick tires, suspenssion springs and racing air filter are very common upgrades.

The 2 speed is worth it. only con i can think of is that you need to buy 2 gears whenever you want to change the ratio and there are more parts that can fail.

Well as long as he doesn't aim for extreme top speeds he doens't need to change anything!

yeah, the few cons is limited gear choice, and is a pain if its not set up right.

Like G said, there are no cons, specially when running a 12 in the car. It will accelerate harder and will have more top end as well. The only problem I see you having is finding the 2 speed for the car. Besides that, no cons, all pros

well, a rs4 2speed will fit wont it? if so, tower has them
