I wanted to know what the most popular fuel is around for nitro users...
I personally use either Trinity or Sidewinder but what do you guys use?

Matter of preference like with many things in this hobby. I have always used Odonnels 20%. When I first started out I used Traxxas Top Fuel with no issues.

You guys live in USA. In Europe there are other habits I personally use Powermaster and Tornado. Powermaster is far more greater than Tornado.

I started on O'Donnell 20% racing fuel and loved it,still would run it.

Later on when times wre tight I tried a gallon of the Byrons 20% and while I didn't dislike the fuel,it was not as good as the O'Donnell.

I recently stepped up to O'Donnell 30% racing fuel and like MiamizFinest,I'll probably never switch to anything else either.

I use odonnell 20% now and like it, except for the eye burning fumes when ya get close to it. Tried trinity with no issues and also byrons with no issues. I am staying with O'Donnells though as that is what is most available locally. Almost all the top fuels are good quality and consistent nowadays, most anyway.

i went to a local store and asked fuel, whichever one they recommended..... they gave me odonnell 16%
why do so many people use 20%?
why would they give me 16% instead of 20%?

A thought: Maybe they didn't have any 20% and they give you 16%

Sidewinders 30% Race Blend.

Prefer it to Byrons for some reason. Gonna wait till the Gen 2's become avaliable here and will try that then.

O'Donnell 20% I stick with that. Also ran the Trinity Platnum 20% and that ran well for me too

I am a faithful user of Traxxas 20%, its not the most powerful, but FOR ME its the easiest for tuning the engine and engine life.

Man to be honest, I've personally seen what that fuel does to an engine with all the deposit build up and such. It is a cheap fuel IMO with too much oil in it. But as YOU stated, it works FOR YOU!

a lot of lhs owners give you 16% because its good for break in, but i think its too low of a % for after that. 25% is a pretty good number, but if youre competing, 30% produces the most power hands down.

i guess ill run the 16% till its done then ill buy the 20%... didn't think it'll make a huge difference. whatever is safer for now...
