Hey guys I'm new to on road nitro but have been in the hobby for 20 years or so.I have always thought about getting one but never have.I have buggys, truggys and st's so I'm not a newbe but am when it comes to these cars on which is better.Ok I can get a real nice RS4 2 real cheap ready to go or I can get a RS4 3 EVO FOR A LITTLE MORE.Do parts interchange between the 2?Are they even available for the 2?Both are in good shape but I don't wanna get something I can't get parts for so please let me know.I was also looking at a traxxas 4 tec but don't really care for Traxxas.Any other cars I should look into?I'm just going to parking lot race with it nothing special.Any help on what I should look for or avoid would be great.

get the RS4 3...tons of parts are availabe for the 3's, and they are shaft driven.
i doubt youll find parts for the RS42, and i think its belt driven.
you cant go wrong with HPI...i call HPI the Honda of R/C car's....reliable, easy to work on, easy to find part's, tons of aftermarket support.
ive had 5 HPI's in the last 9-10 year's....getting my 6th really soon.

the parts are not interchange able between the 2 and the parts support for the rs4 2 is very weak as in parts are pretty rare. go with the rs4 3 evo.

I am hooked on my NTC3 Associated. These parts are everwhere!!! I think the associated chassis is stronger.
The 4 -Tec is whicked fast but driving it in straight lines due to handling will get old quick unless you are into drag racing!!!!
