Here, I found this one on Ebay...Buy now for $199, but make an offer for $120. That is how I got mine for that cheap. These sellers are trying to get lucky and sell for the most they can. If they dont accept the 120, the most you should buy one for is $145.

Miamifinest, do you have a HPI RS4 3? If you do make shure you use the HPI rear header for $11-13 on towerhobbies. Its the only one that will fit the best.

You know, that reminds me. the engine I bought was the non-pullstart, and those sell for more. So try and start offering $100 and go up till he takes an offer.

Actually I didn't want to spend $300, I was just calculating by the time I pay for everything the TZ will end up being $200

Do you remember the ebay seller you bought it from??

I tried looking for it on MyEbay but couldnt find it in there so I searched on my Paypal acount and I found it, here is the info;
Seller's ID: ichobby
Seller's Email: [email protected]

But like I said, that was a non-pullstart (cost more). For a pullstart shall be less. I even got lucky when I bought the HPI flywheel and the HPI engine mounts, I paid $11 both, wich I would of spent like $60

You shouldnt get near $300 for a pullstart, here is how much I spent;

OS 18tz non-pullstart engine:$120
HPI non-pullstart engine mount & flywheel:$11
HPI Rear header:$13
Starter box and batteries:$78
Driving in the middle of the night and waking up the neighbors......PRICELESS!!

That only totaled up to $222.00...and you will not need the non-pullstar parts wich come to a total of $133 for engine and header.
So do your shopping, be smart and Good Luck!

I couldn't find that ebay user
And damn the American dollar has gained a bit of power. But that's ok judging by the economic crisis the US is going through, it should come back down soon

There is no link. I don't think you're allowed to post ebay links anyway

I found a couple of TZ's on ebay but Tower still has them cheapest

ORIGINAL: Spetz

wow really?
What's the TM's benefit then?
More torque?
The TM is designed to drop in the Traxxas T-Maxx where torque is more important.

But $300 is too dang much for that motor, that's why I didn't go with it for my Maxx. I went Picco instead.

The old .18TM was priced very reasonably, I don't know why O.S. thinks the .21TM should cost double.
