Default smoking from gears

Just finished cleaning my 4tec today and while running afterwards, it seem to be giving off smoke from the gears. I do understand that the 4tec heats up faster than others. Is this normal?

the clutch heats up a lot during running, so it could of been a drop of fuel on there, which might have smoked. You should also check the gear meshing, if the gears are too tight together, just loosen up the engine mounts and move it away from the gear a little.

yea it could be that the clutch heating up to like extrememly high temps. and the smallest drop of liquid that has slow disolving chemicals. will sizzle and start burning.
