That looks sweet muddy. I was told that maybe since Im attempting to tune one motor at a time and its severly overgeared, the clutch is getting hot and calapsing. The car has a 31/36 set up so I know its too much for one motor. I might take it apart this week and regear it to run one motor at a time until the motors are somewhat tuned and then change the gearing back. The motors are basically brand new and only have about 8 tank thru each motor so I know im still going thru that break-in process. I'll keep yall posted.

thanks, about a year ago I was going to do the same setup that u have but using the 728's but the 2speed clutch bells became
a headache within a headeache, impossible 2 locate the gears that i needed,so that idea went straight out the window.
I am also working on my twin titan that's going to be all carbon fiber waiting on carbon to arrived, oh check out the new body
from ofna for the new dm1 that is a very sweet body and it will fit yor car, mine came yesterday nice (another 1 in the making)
keep up the fantastic work job WeLLLL done.

Thanks Muddy. By the way, how thick is that chassis that youre running on your car and how well does it hold up to heat?

The chassis is 4mm thick,no issues with heat
with all the extra weight the car is 2lbs lighter than
the dm 1 stock version.carbon fiber is really stiff until
u start cutting holes. the more material u take out the more
it wants to flex,I ordered a 5mm & 6mm plate waiting 4 it to
arrive, the 6mm will be used 4 the twin titan.

we're working some of the kinks out of it. There was a spur stripping issue and we couldnt figure it out until yesterday when we found out that since so much was taken from the chassis, the chassis actually became weak and would flex. Im in the process of ordering some alum. and attempting to make a thicker chassis for it but in the meantime, I made a mock upper brace which would hopefully help. We're running it today and see if it hold. Cant make it do anything more until everything is worked out.
