100cc MT2 tank fits RS4???
 

Will the HPI87189 High Capacity 100cc Racing Fuel Tank for the HPI Nitro MT2 and Nitro MT 2 SS fit the RS4? This would be perfect for my car when I go racing. The extra fuel will give me and edge :D

no. i have both the mt2 and the rs 4.
the rs4 don`t have the right holes in the frame.
you might be able to change the rs4 to the mt2 frame.
i didn`t check out that.

so? ever hear of a drill. My exhaust didn't fit right, so I had to move my tank over 1/8th inch. After positioning it i ran a dill bit through and cranked in the screw.

Who cares if theres no holes? As long as you can fit the tank just drill your own

the mt2 chassis is a little longer, i doubt theres the room for the tank to fit

ok. i understand. i heard of a few guys shoe horning a bigger tank to fit.
but i didn`t think he would want to go thur all that trouble.
sounds to me he was asking if its just a bolt in thing.

yeah, I was hoping it would pop right in. My frame is already a litle bent after nailing a curb. So I'm not averse to drilling a new hole :-)

in the rs4-3 the tank doesn't even attach by the frame, my doesn't even touch the frame. heres some pics one has a pencil under it to show you how much clearence there is
