2wheel drive handling??

my front cvd came apart in my nitro rs4 and im using it as 2wd, can anyone tell me some tips on how to set it up so it handles better /slides less/ stops spinning out as much? i jb welded the diff to see what happned and it helped on take off as for spinning but cornering and spinning out didnt help.... im new to onroad so anything will help, toe in? toe out? softer springs?

RE: 2wheel drive handling??

softer springs rear, softer silicon oil in the rear diff, wider and softer foam tires at the rear and of course being gentle with the throtle...

EDIT: I forgot to mention: maybe less rear toe in will stabilize it a bit while the "softer" differential acts...;)

RE: 2wheel drive handling??

With a locked diff in a RWD RC car it'll always be a ***** to control I'd say
But, ideally in my opinion is make the car naturally understeer so that you can power out of corners.
So your driving technique would be slow in, fast out (theoretically)

So I guess anything to stiffen the front and soften the rear
