I am in the midst of a design that will require multiple stop point actuation from a horizontal position downward to a vertical position. I want to use gas filled tension struts. However, it is for a rather small application and my problem is finding a source who supplies or custom builds a tension locking gas strut with a total extended length not more than 5". The ones I have found are 7" and greater.
